That Globe poster post got us thinking.Back in 2007, Washington City Paper ran a cover story on Elvis' one and only DC appearance. Pete, then the art director of the paper, channeled the old Globe poster aesthetic for the design of that week's cover. It was no match for a Globe original, but then again, you know what they say about imitation...
